Tonight I was wandering the streets of Mindelo. Looking for some relaxation. On street behind on of the most famous streets (Praça Nova) of Mindelo, I found…no I heared an absolute jewel.

Besides giving you the best and most complete information about the Cape Verdean island São Vicente, what is the real purpose behind this initiative? This site is not only built for the tourist, but also by and for the local people of São Vicente.

Sometimes you don’t need a deep and philosophic blog post which enumerates all the facts and things you need to know about a certain subject. The smile for example. I really needed to mention this. The smile I have on this picture is a Cape Verdean smile. Why? I will only find this smile on other faces here which makes me smile as well.
Where people have difficulties, good jobs, no job at all. You will find the richest smiles from the most beautiful people here. You can see my picture. It’s a big smile, but sincerely. I have to thank São Vicente for this.
